However, the next generation of Marley kids has arrived and it's looking like at least one of them is set to follow his grandfather into the music biz by.
Skip is the 20-year-old son of Bob's daughter Cedella Marley, and he recently released his new single 'Lions' having signed to Island Records.
The socially-conscious rap-reggae song has already been bigged-up by Shawn Mendes and Katy Perry.
With him set to feature on Katy Perry's new single 'Chained to the Rhythm', as well as perform with her at the Grammys on Sunday, we can expect to hear a lot more of this chap.
