Bob Dylan caused quite a stir back in December, when he failed to show up at the Nobel ceremony in Stockholm to collect his Prize for Literature.
Dylan was announced as the recipient of the prestigious award back in October, although it was clear even back then that he would not be attending the bash.
However, it looks like the Swedes will finally get their man this coming weekend, as he's set to play two gigs in Stockholm and will accept the award in person.
Spokesperson for the Academy Sara Danius wrote: "The good news is that the Swedish Academy and Bob Dylan have decided to meet this weekend. The Academy will then hand over Dylan's Nobel diploma and the Nobel medal, and congratulate him on the Nobel Prize in Literature.
"The setting will be small and intimate, and no media will be present; only Bob Dylan and members of the Academy will attend, all according to Dylan's wishes."
Dylan will not deliver the lecture required of all winners of the Prize this weekend - which nets them almost a million euro, FYI - but instead will send a taped version at a later date.
All in all, he's gotten off pretty lightly with the whole thing....
