Fans of Blur who have been clamouring for new material won't have to wait much longer. The band today announced on Twitter that they will debut two you new songs in a live video stream performance on the micro-blogging site.
Damon Albarn and co. will perform 'Under The Westway' and 'The Puritan', both of which were written for the band's upcoming sold-out Hyde Park gig to celebrate the start London Olympics. Both songs will then immediately be available to download.
The live performance will begin at 6.15pm on August 12th and will be viewable from Twitter.com/blurofficial.
