Does every rock and roll reunion have to be meticulously documented on film these days or what? Blink 182 seem to think so, as they've been followed by a camera crew since embarking on their reunion tour in May of last year.
The footage will supposedly be used in a documentary film called The Blinkumentary, and will chart the California trio's recording sessions as they work on a new album. The new album is the band's first studio work since their self-titled 2003 album, and according to guitarist and vocalist Tom DeLonge, is likely to be informed by each of the three band members experiences outside of Blink 182 since their split in 2005.
De Longe also added that the new record should include some of their 'most ambitious songwriting' yet.
"No one really knows what to expect from the next Blink record, I don’t think anyone expects it’s going to be a straight-forward rock record,"
