Those of you who are of, shall we say, "advanced" age might remember a hardcore US group called Black Flag. Once upon a time fronted by Henry Rollins - who has since departed - the band's new line-up recently released their first new material since 1985's In My Head and embarked on a tour but all doesn't seem to be rosy in the Black Flag camp.

The latest Black Flag frontman Ron Reyes has announced on Facebook (which has since been deleted) that he has left the band. The reasons? At a recent Australian show skateboarder Mike Vallely, himself briefly vocalist for the band, took to the stage and grabbed the microphone from him and asked him to leave the stage.

Reyes wrote, via Exclaim.ca, : "On November 24th 2013 the last night of the Australian Hits and Pits tour with two songs left in the set Mike V comes on stage stares me down, takes my mic and says "You're done, party's over get off it's over...".

Reyes insists the incident is a "relief" and that he didn't see eye-to-eye with the band's co-founder Greg Ginn.

Interestingly, there's another offshoot of Black Flag out there called simply Flag, which is also made up of former members of the group. Anyone know if they're looking for a singer?
