He is an undoubted musical legend of the last half-century - but Billy Joel has not released new material in quite a while.
The New Yorker has been touring extensively in recent years, including a date in Dublin in 2018, as well as undertaking his long-running Madison Square Garden residency, which is set to finish later this year. However, it has been 17 years since his last release.
That's all set to change next week, though - as the 74-year-old has just announced his first single since 2007's 'Christmas in Fallujah'.
It's called 'Turn the Lights Back On' and was co-written with Arthur Bacon, Wayne Hector, and Freddy Wexler.
It's not yet known whether an album is planned - it has been over thirty years since his last studio album 'River of Dreams', but we may yet be hearing more new material from the Piano Man.
'Turn the Lights Back On' is released on February 1st.
