What started off as a sort of joke in 2018 - when Billie Eilish did an interview exactly a year after her first chat with Vanity Fair in 2017 - has quickly become tradition.
The Los Angeles pop star has done an interview with the magazine for the fourth year running - with the exact same set of questions - and it's a timely reminder that it's been quite a year.
Eilish, who is still only 18 years old, opened by saying "This is getting out of hand. I'm doing this shit til I'm 90, so get ready for it", before answering a series of questions including 'What's a positive thing in the news right now?' and 'What's your biggest fear a year from now?' as well as 'Biggest thing to happen in your career so far?' Considering how she's won five Grammys and sung a Bond theme since she last checked in with Vanity Fair, that one proved particularly interesting.
Clearly, the pandemic played a major role in her 2020 - as it did with everyone - but she also discussed topics like the US election, climate action and police brutality and racism in her native USA.
Eilish also discusses how she has spent most of her year after her world tour was cancelled.
