Beyonce is to lend her vocal skills to the U.S. animated kids TV show 'Wow! Wow! Wubbzy!' The Grammy Award winning superstar will be the voice of Shine, the lead singer of The Wubb Girlz band. Beyonce will feature on the cartoon comedy for one whole week at the end of this month, culminating in a Wubb Idol talent show on May 1st.
Beyonce said of the experience:
"I'm so happy to be a part of 'Wow! Wow! Wubbzy!' because I'm finally able to impress my nephew. I can identify with Shine, having grown up in Destiny's Child. The Wubb Girlz are all about unity (and) they sing cool harmonies."
Of course, the Sing a Song tune performed by The Wubb Girlz on the show will be released as a download on iTunes and other digital outlets from 21th April.
Beyonce has just announced the highly anticipated U.S. leg of her "I Am… Sasha Fierce" tour, kicking off at New York's Madison Square Garden in June.
