When it comes to celebrity hobbies, there are some pretty strange ones out there.
Rod Stewart and Roger Daltrey of The Who are both huge model train enthusiasts. Angelina Jolie famously has a big collection of daggers in her home. Jennifer Garner is big into the clarinet and saxophone, while Tom Hanks goes nuts for typewriters.
Beyoncé, as far as weird hobbies go, has them all beat. She's a keen beekeeper and has not one beehive or bey-hive, but two beehives. In an interview with Vogue UK, the Queen Bey revealed that she is, in fact, a Queen Bee over her beehives, not just the all-encompassing Bey-hive that is her international fandom.
"I’ve had them at my house for a while now. I have around 80,000 bees and we make hundreds of jars of honey a year," Beyoncé revealed, noting that the reason she kept making that much honey was for her daughter Blue and Rumi's allergies, and there's anecodtal evidence to suggest local pollen counts in beehives helps to reduce seasonal allergies.
Sorry, Bey-hive, it wasn't just for you.
