Belfast looks set to be the place to be in summer 2010, with more exciting music and festivals being lined up every day.

This week, Stormzone were announced to headline the third Summer Rocks festival, a small hard rock festival presented by SO:NI (Sounds of Northern Ireland) at the Empire Music Hall on this Thursday June 17th. They'll play alongside Trucker Diablo, Bandwago and Last Know Addiction, with admission a mere £5.

Meanwhile, White Lies, Iron & Wine and Modest Mouse were among announcements for the Open House Festival made this week. The festival takes place in the Cathedral Quarter from September 7th to 12th. The full line up looks like this:

And today, news comes of Planetlove WKD, as Fatboy Slim, Calvin Harris and Armin Van Buuren have just been announced to top the bill. The huge dance fest will take place at King's Hall Showgrounds on Friday 10th and Saturday 11th of September, and will also feature sets from Eric Prydz, Sander Van Doorn, Judge Jules, Lisa Lashes, Chris Liebing, Alex Kidd and Dave Spoon, while global music brands including Toolroom Knights, Pryda, Q-Dance and Goodgreef will host arenas.
