Good news for fans of the legendary Carole King who don't fancy making their way to London; 'Beautiful: The Carole King Musical' is coming to Dublin for a run early next year.
King's life story in musical form - which has won Oliver, Tony and Grammy awards since it debuted in 2013 - will play at the Bord Gais Energy Theatre from January 9th - 20th 2018.
As the press release puts it, "it tells the inspiring true story of King’s remarkable rise to stardom, from being part of a hit song writing team with her husband Gerry Goffin, to her relationship with fellow writers and best friends Cynthia Weil and Barry Mann, to becoming one of the most successful solo acts in popular music history."
West End star Bronte Barbe will play King on this tour, with Kane Oliver Parry as Gerry Goffin.
