Despite media speculation to the contrary, Canadian pop tycoon Avril Lavigne has dismissed the notion that she's set to collaborate with Amanda Bynes. The word on the street was that Bynes, who has courted a lot of controversy in recent times, would appear on Lavigne's new song 'Rock and Roll' - but this was scoffed at by Lavigne.
Lavigne told Page Six that she did indeed run into Bynes recently, but no discussion about collaborating took place as the two simply nodded hello to each other in a bathroom at a recent charity event.
"I'm on the board of [Race to Erase, an MS charity]. She was in the bathroom and she was at the event, she said 'hi' to me, I said 'hi' to her. And she was really nice in the bathroom. That's my only personal experience with her, so it was positive."
So that's that then, eh? Oh, and 2003 called...they want their headlines back.
