Great news for fans of Northern Irish rockers Ash - particularly those fond of their debut album 1977.
Tim Wheeler and his cohorts are celebrating the 20th anniversary of the album in 2016, and are consequently taking it on tour and playing it in its entirety (and in sequence) on several dates around the UK, Europe and Ireland.
They said: “We're as excited as we are in disbelief to announce the 20th anniversary tour of 1977. Some of these songs have grown with us throughout those years; others have the ability to transport us mentally and emotionally back to that crazy formative year of 1995 to 96. These gigs are going to be a trip, trip, trip!”
The tour kicks off at Dublin's Olympia Theatre on November 10th.
Tickets are €26 including booking fee, and on sale from usual outlets this Friday at 9am.
