It hasn't been that long since Ash frontman Tim Wheeler released his very fine solo debut 'Lost Domain', but the Downpatrick rockers will return with a new album later this year.
'Kablammo!' is being financed via a PledgeMusic campaign that allows fans to pre-order the album and receive 'rewards' such as signed vinyl, screen prints, handwritten lyrics and more.
The trio's last album was 2007's 'Twilight of the Innocents' before they embarked on the ambitious 'A-Z series' in 2009, which saw them release a new single every two weeks.
They've also announced a date at Dublin's Whelan's on June 7th and Belfast's Limelight on June 8th.
For the day that's in it, they're taking over today's religious Ash Wednesday celebration and have accordingly released a song from 'Kablammo!'. You can hear 'Cocoon' below.
