Arcade Fire are reportedly working on a film with Being John Malkovich and Where The Wild Things Are director Spike Jonze. The Canadian indie stars had previously allowed Jonze to use their song 'Wake Up' on the latter last year.
A spokesperson told MTV News "Spike will be in Austin shooting a short film which is a collaboration with Arcade Fire." According to reports, the short film is about "friends growing apart", and is currently at the casting stage.
In the meantime, Arcade Fire have been working on a new album, which they intend to premiere during festival performances this summer. Let's assume we'll hear some of it when they play at Oxegen in July.
