The last five or so years have seen a huge influx in film scores being played live by an orchestra - with the likes of Harry Potter and La La Land being two movies which have proven particularly popular with Irish audiences.
Now Star Wars fans will have something to look forward to, as 'A New Hope' is being screened at Dublin's 3Arena on December 5th, while the RTE Symphony Orchestra will play John Williams' timeless score in full.
The orchestra will be conducted by David Mahoney and this will be the first time the score has been performed live in Ireland.
Tickets are on sale this coming Thursday, February 1st from usual outlets.
