It's been a busy morning for gig announcements as three very different acts have announced their intention to play Dublin later this year.
Amanda Palmer will play the National Concert Hall on May 28th. “An Evening With Amanda Palmer” will see her alone on stage, performing everything from solo and Dresden Dolls favourites to unreleased new material on both grand piano and ukulele. Comedian Andrew O'Neill will support and tickets are €25.00, €27.50, €30.00 and on sale this Friday from nch.ie.
Meanwhile, Merrill Garbus aka Tune-Yards will play Dublin's Tivoli Theatre on July 10th. The New England musician and her band have just released their new album "I can feel you creep into my private life", so expect to hear new and old songs alike. Tickets are €24 and on sale from usual outlets this Friday at 10am.
Finally, Australian singer-songwriter Vance Joy will play Dublin's Olympia Theatre on November 15th, in support of his forthcoming second album 'Nation of Two', which is out on February 23rd. Tickets are from €26 and on sale from usual outlets on Friday, February 23rd at 9am.
