They've already bagged the Mercury Prize for their debut album An Awesome Wave but it looks like Alt-J could be adding some more silverware to their trophy cabinet after they were nominated for Best Contemporary Song and the Album Award at this year's Ivor Novello Awards.
Elsewhere, Emeli Sande and Plan B also bagged two nominations apiece cementing impressive years for both with further plaudits.
The Ivor Novellos are held in high regard by the music media, as they are entirely voted on by songwriters and composers. The ceremony will take place in London on Thursday May 16th.
