Then again - as proven by the time that he grew a beard - Alex Turner's grooming choices seem to strike a chord with Arctic Monkeys fans in a way that few other frontmen do.
Turner, who has been sporting longer locks and facial hair in recent times, including in the first videos for his band's latest album 'Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino', has had a dramatic makeover as he appeared with Arctic Monkeys on Late Night with Stephen Colbert on Monday, and at a gig in New York last night.
