It's no secret that Alex Turner has undergone a number of personal style changes over the years, from the bad-haircut-polo-shirt-and-baggy-jeans ensemble he sported when Arctic Monkeys first began, to the slick, leather-bound rock 'n' roller of late.
However, he probably wasn't expecting to generate comparisons with Alan Partridge at any point in his career.
His other band The Last Shadow Puppets played Later with Jools Holland on Tuesday night, and the Internet has been rife with fans drawing parallels between Turner and Steve Coogan's fictional naff DJ - mostly thanks to his cardigan, high-waisted trousers and white tennis shoes.
Watch the performance below to see if you agree, and see the fan reaction on Twitter below that...

The Last Shadow Puppets played Dublin last night and will play the Olympia again tonight... so if you were there and he was sporting a slightly less Partridgesque outfit, do let us know.
