Having released his first solo single in the US back in August, Jack White has now revealed plans for his solo album. Speaking to Rolling Stone magazine, White said that he may record the album this year, but is not sure what form it will take. He admitted that there is a possibility of him playing all the instruments on the album himself. "I've never done that. I thought about that. That might be the challenge - to differentiate from anything else that I've done."
Laura Marling has announced the tracklisting for her second album, 'I Speak Because I Can'. The follow up to her Mercury Prize nominated 2008 debut 'Alas I Cannot Swim' was produced by Kings of Leon producer Ethan Johns, and is due for release on February 26th, ahead of her Irish shows in April.
