Adele may be breaking records left, right and centre with her new album '25', but it seems that not everyone is a fan.

A group of Turkish music fans on Twitter have accused the Londoner of plagiarism, claiming that her song 'Million Years Ago' borrows from a 1985 song called 'Acilara Tutunmak', by Kurdish artist Ahmet Kaya. It seems that the controversy has stirred up quite a debate on Turkish social media.

Kaya died in 2000 aged 43, but despite the claims that his music has been plagiarised by Adele, his widow Gulten Kaya has disputed them.

She told Turkish newspaper Posta that it was unlikely that any similarities were deliberate, but added: "however, if she consciously did it, then it would be theft”.
