If you're a Queen fan but not a fan of Adam Lambert, there's potentially bad news on the horizon.
Lambert has been the frontman of the rock titans for the last few years, but has only played live with them thus far. However, that could be about to change as he recently told Digital Spy that he would be interested in recording new material with Brian May et al.
He said: "I'm certainly open to anything. If something sounds cool and it's the right thing to do at the right time, then I'm game. I haven't heard anything like that come up."
He also brought up the question that will no doubt be on most fans' lips: "But also, maybe it's an issue of, is that Queen without Freddie? To me, Queen is... that's why we're billed as Queen plus Adam Lambert. I'm their guest who's filling in by singing these songs and having a great time doing it. But it's not necessarily Queen."
Lambert has concentrated on his solo career in recent times, but will return to the Queen fold this weekend at the Isle of Wight festival.
What do you think - should Lambert record with Queen, or would it tarnish Freddie Mercury's memory?
