There's been a giant Top of the Pops-shaped hole in our TV schedule for many years now, but a new BBC show that is starting later this month is attempting to fill it.
The first 'Sounds Like Friday Night' will air on October 27th and the format sounds like a cross between TOTP and Saturday Night Live, where musicians will act as hosts alongside regular presenters Greg James and Dotty from BBC Radio 1.
The six-part series - which is produced by James Corden's production company - will include "special performances, topical entertainment, comedy sketches and a "smorgasbord" of the very best in live music", according to a press release.
Jason Derulo is the co-presenter on the first episode, which will also feature music by Jessie Ware, Charlie Puth and more.
One Direction's Liam Payne will also guest host, while Liam Gallagher is lined up as a performer on the November 3rd episode.
It debuts on October 27th at 7.30pm.
