Soul singer Jackie Wilson will be the latest artist to be made into a hologram, it has been confirmed.
Wilson died aged 49 in 1984, but his legacy will be continued through Hologram USA, who are also working on shows based around holograms of Whitney Houston, Dean Martin, Buddy Holly and more.
A full stage show featuring Wilson's hologram will go on tour in 2017, co-produced by FilmOn TV Networks and distributed online by FilmOn.com, reports Billboard.
They quote Hologram USA CEO Alki David as saying: "Everything you expect from an exciting ‘rock star’ stage show was invented by Jackie Wilson: the leaps, spins and back-flips, not to mention his amazing four-octave range."
