Next summer is shaping up to be a '80s/'90s music fan's dream, as two iconic but very different acts of that era have both announced Irish gigs this morning.
The The, the band led by revered songwriter Matt Johnson and who released classic albums of the era like 'Soul Mining' and 'Dusk', will play Dublin's Iveagh Gardens on July 7th, 2018.
Meanwhile, fans of Morten Harket will be delighted to hear that the Norwegian pop star and his A-ha bandmates will play Live at the Marquee, Cork on June 12th.
Tickets for both gigs go on sale next Thursday, December 7th from usual outlets at 9am.
