With just over a week to go to the US election, things are starting to get increasingly circus-like (and that's saying quite a lot).
Having shocked (well, not really) some people last week by urging his fans to vote for Donald Trump, rapper 50 Cent has now claimed that he 'never liked' the 45th president.
Fiddy, real name Curtis Jackson, had been critical of Joe Biden's plans for tax reform for the wealthy, saying " I don’t care Trump doesn’t like black people 62% are you out of ya fucking mind."
His change of heart might have something to do with what his ex-girlfriend, comedian Chelsea Handler, said during her appearance on Jimmy Fallon's talk show.
"I had to remind him that he was a Black person, so he can’t vote for Donald Trump, and that he shouldn’t be influencing an entire swath of people who may listen to him because he’s worried about his own personal pocketbook," she said. "I’m willing to seal the deal in more ways than one if he changes his mind and publicly denounces Donald Trump. I might be willing to for another spin, if you know what I’m talking about.”
In response to her tongue-in-cheek offer, 50 Cent backtracked with a somewhat mysterious reference. "F*ck Donald Trump, I never liked him,” he said on Twitter. For all I know he had me set up and had my friend Angel Fernandez killed but that’s history. LOL.”

In related news, while Trump may have lost the support of one rapper, he's gained the endorsement of another - for the same tax-related reasons.
Lil Pump posted a picture of himself meeting Trump, as well as a video criticising Biden's tax plans.
