Jared Leto's 30 Seconds To Mars celebrated their forthcoming UK and Ireland tour by playing a brief set on the roof of the O2 in London earlier this week.

After scaling the side of the building (yep, seriously) Jared and his cohorts playing a short acoustic set, consisting of four songs - 'End of All Days', 'Up In The Air', 'Kings and Queens' and 'Closer To The Edge', which was the most the literal song title of the evening.

Speaking of the set, Leto explained that he doesn't like to play the regular rock n' roll game: "We try not to do the typical bullshit, we try to do a different brand of bullshit. We probably won't forget this for at least a few days."

In terms of publicity stunts, 30 Seconds To Mars seem to be pretty well versed. Earlier this year they have also staged a flash mob in Soho Square and shot a song into space. As you do.

30 Seconds To Mars will play The O2 in Dublin on 25th November and the Odyssey in Belfast on 26th November.
