Dublin band Inhaler release their second album ‘Cuts & Bruises’ this coming Friday, February 17th.
Their 2021 debut album ‘It Won’t Always Be Like This’ established the young four-piece as ones to watch, and album #2 comes good on that promise, with soaring indie anthems like ‘These Are the Days’ and ‘Dublin in Ecstasy’.
We caught up with the band before the release of ‘Cuts & Bruises’ to learn more about them.
1. What’s the music that you listened to growing up, that you still listen to today?
The Beatles.
2. In three words, describe the minute before you walk on stage.
Excited nervous uncertainty.
3. How do you wind down after a gig?
We watch ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm’ on the bus.
4. What’s the one song (by another artist) you wish you’d written or recorded first?
'What’s Going On?’- Marvin Gaye.
5. What is your pet peeve?
Shorts and flip flops on stage.
6. Name one record, one book and one film that everyone should hear / read / see.

9. Describe your perfect day off.
Being able to go out and explore new places we’ve not been to before and discovering parts of the cities we’ve been fortunate enough to play in.
10. Tell us, in one sentence, why we should come to your next gig (whenever it may be.)
Playing live is the most important part of our band and we try to make our audience feel as much a part of the experience as ourselves.
