After a series of dates across the UK, The Justice Tonight Band will play an Irish date at The Academy this Friday 30th March. The band - made up of Mick Jones (The Clash/Big Audio Dynamite), Pete Wylie (Wah!), The Farm, DJ Don Letts (Big Audio Dynamite) will be joined by some very special guests.
Guests at previous gigs included James Dean Bradfield, Richard Hawley, Glasvegas' Jon McClure, Hard Fi’s Richard Archer, John Bishop, Billy Bragg, Cast, Primal Scream, Paul Simonon, and Ian Brown & John Squire from The Stone Roses.
For Mick Jones this will be the first time he has toured in Ireland performing Clash songs since 1982, he says: "I’m totally honored to be part of something so meaningful and I hope that we can do some good."
Every gig should have a reason and these shows are about getting Justice for the families, survivors and supporters of the 96 people who died at Sheffield Wednesday's Hillsborough football ground on 15th April 1989.
