Halle-feckin-lujah. Two of the world's biggest music festivals have taken a stand against the irritating selfie stick and has issued a ban on them.
Don't get us wrong, the selfie stick can be a handy device on many an occasion, but when you've got over a hundred people every side of you, maybe give it a miss?
It can hit someone in the face, distract people from the general awesomeness that is probably happening on stage, and you just look like, well, a bit of an egit. Sorry.
Lollapalooza's FAQ this year says "GoPro attachments like sticks, selfie sticks & monopods are not allowed' while Coachella has just gone straight to the point in their Rules and Polices and said 'no selfie sticks/narcissistics'.
A few Australian festivals have made similar rules as well as some UK venues. Festival season is just around the corner here, here's hoping we can do the same!
