When she makes a comeback, she really goes big.
It's been quite a few years since Rihanna has performed publicly, but the 'Umbrella' star made her comeback count by playing the Super Bowl Halftime Show yesterday.
The prestigious slot - which was watched by 112 million viewers last year (ratings have yet to be published for this year) - took place at the State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona and saw the Kansas City Chiefs beat the Philadelphia Eagles 38-35.
But on to more important matters: Rihanna's slot, which unusually saw her perform without any guests, seemed to go down very well with viewers, with one calling it 'Top notch from start to finish.... The choreography, lighting, costume, set layout. Too impressive!!!" Others deemed it "incredible" and 'spectacular'.
She performed on floating platforms, singing hits including 'Bitch Better Have My Money', 'Only Girl in the World', 'Rude Boy', 'We Found Love', 'Umbrella' and 'Diamonds'.
However, one of the biggest talking points was the Barbadian pop star revealing that she is pregnant with her second child - with a baby bump clearly visible during the performance. Her reps later confirmed the happy news. Her first child, a son, was born in May 2022.
