Whether you like it or not, Kaiser Chiefs are back with a new album later this year - and they've just released the lead single.

The follow-up to 2014's 'Education, Education, Education and War' is called 'Stay Together' and will be released on October 7th. The album was produced by Brian Higgins of Xenomania, best known for working his pop magic with the likes of Girls Aloud, Kylie, Pet Shop Boys and others.

Lead singer and former coach on The Voice, Ricky Wilson, said: "When we finished writing the last record we realised that the most important thing to everyone is what’s going on in their lives. Their "personal politics" and that’s what this album is about. If Education, Education, Education & War was our protest album, then Stay Together is our relationship album. Brian brought a very different approach to song writing and recording, it was a steep learning curve but together we tried out new ideas and sounds and ended up with a new and fresh sounding Kaiser Chiefs album. Like no Kaiser Chiefs record you have heard before.”

Before that, new single 'Parachute' is out today, and you can hear it below:
