If you're looking for a raw live performance to jam to this afternoon, then Haim's Tiny Desk Concert will be just the ticket. The three siblings joined forces to perform breezy and chilled renditions of three of their latest singles from their third album, set to release later this month.
Changing their name slightly to Tiny Desk (Home) Concerts for the foreseeable future, Haim's performance is just one of many planned NPR Music performances from across the States and the world. These stripped-down sets will still have the same intimate setting as all of their previous in-house videos, except that they will just feature no studio audience. Artists who have performed in this new set-up recently include Little Dragon, Laura Marling, Lianne Le Havis, King Princess, and Rodrigo y Gabriela.
Haim's Tiny Desk Concert comes ahead of their new album, 'Women in Music Pt. III', which arrives on Friday, June 26. The band have already released six singles from the upcoming 16-track record, the first of which we heard last July. NME recently gave the album a glowing 5-star review ahead of its release, calling the experimental and emotionally charged album "their best yet".
