The so-called 'biggest night in music' took place yesterday at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, and there were few major upsets in a year when the Grammys ceremony was pushed back because of the pandemic.

Unfortunately, Dublin's Fontaines D.C. - the only Irish interest at this year's Grammys - lost out to The Strokes in the 'Best Rock Album' category.

Beyonce, meanwhile, made history by becoming the most awarded female artist in Grammys history. Her daughter Blue Ivy helped mum pick up her Grammy for 'Best Music Video' for 'Brown Skin Girl' - which she is credited on and has a starring role in, officially making her a Grammy winner at the tender age of 9.

Taylor Swift also won big, scooping the Album of the Year for 'folklore' - the first woman to win that category three times. Billie Eilish, meanwhile, triumphed in the Record of the Year category for the second year in a row for her song 'Everything I Wanted', and H.E.R. pulled off a bit of a surprise by winning Song of the Year for 'I Can't Breathe'.
