Croke Park. Spice Girls. 82,000 people. What a night.

Kicking off their 2019 SpiceWorld Tour in trademark spicy style, 82,000 ticket holders in Croke Park were swinging, shaking, moving, and making last night to the one and only Spice Girls.

In the lead up to the gig, there were more than a few people spotted in fancy dress around the streets of Drumcondra.

And in a toss-up between 'Wannabe' and  'Spice Up Your Life', the girls arrived on stage to the latter to a deafening Croke Park roar.

Before moving through many of their hits, such as 'Goodbye'.

There was not a dry eye in the house following 'Viva Forever'.

'Stop' was a sure-fire hit, considering the music video was filmed in Stoneybatter.

And even 'Holler' got a look-in, replacing Posh for Ginger.

There was even a tri-colour couch for the girls to have a well-earned rest on while they sang their penultimate song, 'Mama'.

Let's be honest, the Spice Girls look like they are still on top of their game, 20 years on.

And of course, arguably their most iconic hit, 'Wannabe' closed out the night.
