The B.A.R.E. in the Woods festival will return for its second year this summer, and has just announced its first twelve acts.

The music and arts event takes place in the woods of Garryhinch, Co. Laois (near Portarlington) on Saturday, June 13th. It's a one-day-only event, but there is on-site camping available.

Leeds-based songwriter Jon Gomm (below) who has garnered acclaim for his innovative use of acoustic guitar, will play, as will British four-piece Mt. Wolf, who have gained comparisons to Bat for Lashes and Purity Ring.

Also on the bill are Kiwi indie-popper Pikachunes aka Myles McDougall, who'll make his Irish debut at B.A.R.E in the Woods - while a host of Irish acts, including Interskalactic, Sounds of System Breakdown, The Eskies, Nanu Nanu, Yes Cadets, Ghosts, Sleep Thieves and David Browne Murray will also play.

More acts will, of course, be added to the bill - and bands or artists interested in playing have until this Sunday, January 18th to apply via sending a music EPK to [email protected].

Early bird tickets are already sold out, but tier 2-priced tickets at €30 (non-camping) or €40 (camping) - both excluding booking fee - are on sale now from us here at Entertainment.ie.
