Fifteen years after the conclusion to the Nickelodeon comedy series Zoey 101, starring Jamie Lynn Spears as spirited teenager Zoey Brooks, original cast members reunite for a frothy film comedy directed by Nancy Hower. Scripted by Monica Sherer and Madeline Whitby, Zoey 102 finds Zoey (Spears) careening towards her 30s with no direction in her life. She is asked to be maid of honour at the wedding of classmates Logan (Matthew Underwood) and Quinn (Erin Sanders), which bring together other alumni of the Pacific Coast Academy including Zoey's former crush Chase (Sean Flynn). To avoid embarrassment during the reception, Zoey hires an actor called Todd (Dean Geyer) to pose as her boyfriend. The deception sets in motion a comedy of errors that forces many of the guests to reflect fondly on their school days
