Drama of the Slovak National Uprising. The film uses authentic images from the SNP and the Soviet Army. During the shooting, the Czechoslovak Army and the Union of Partisans helped. The filmmakers, with fresh experience, have created a picture of the Svrcin family, which has remained the model of a collective portrait and, to a certain extent, symbolizes national resistance against domestic and German fascism.
