Trust, or the lack of it, lies at the heart of this taut award-winning thriller. Based on real stories, it follows three characters arriving separately in Johannesburg. Working to their own code of conduct in rural life, their existence in the city quickly forces them to confront fundamental issues of survival. Nyoka is especially compelling as Zanele, chaperoning a young girl, while keen to seize her own chances.
