From the grand dance halls with Decap organs to the golden days of Popcorn, from dark and cold Electronic Body Music and New Beat to Belgian House and Techno: the film takes us back to the pre-war times of carnivals and funfairs with exuberant parties; to the smoke filled, neon-lit dance halls of the golden 1960s; to the dark stages and the deafening discos of the 1980s and 1990s.
