Sven Klang's Combo

The Sven Klang Quintet was a touring Swedish jazz group which was popular there in the 1950s. This film re-creates the 50s music scene of small towns in southern Sweden and tells the story of the jazz group's tour. The four musicians are a happy group until the fifth, a sax player, sits in on one of their sessions. It seems that he inspires all the players but bandleader Sven Klang, and he questions the bandleader's authority.
