Award-winning documentary film-maker Elizabeth Lo's debut feature, which she also shot and edited, explores isolation through the eyes of three stray dogs, who exist on the streets of Istanbul. The animals, Zeytin, Nazar and Kartal, search for food and shelter as they bear witness to the ebb and flow of Turkish society. The four-legged bystanders glimpse various facets of human life, including relationships in freefall, aimless youths sniffing glue as an escape from reality, and the unexpected kindness of strangers.
