Hollywood heavyweights Dustin Hoffman and Judi Dench head the cast in this adaptation of Roald Dahl's story about retired bachelor Mr Hoppy, who harbours a secret passion for his neighbour Mrs Silver. Tongue-tied and shy, his attempts to talk to her only end in disaster - and it doesn't help that she lavishes all her affection on another - her pet tortoise Alfie. However, when he discovers her greatest wish is for Alfie to be a little bit bigger, he hits upon a devious idea to finally win her love. Drama, co-starring James Corden and Richard Cordery.
