In this drama, Stefan (Tom Wlaschiha) is the son of a medical researcher who passed away while studying the origins of the AIDS pandemic. Hoping to follow in his father's footsteps, Stefan travels to San Francisco, where his investigation leads him into the heart of the city's underground sex scene. Along the way, Stefan meets Jeffrey (Jim Thalman), a handsome man who has uncovered some information regarding scientific tests performed on incarcerated prisoners. Stefan soon becomes involved with Jeffrey, but before long, he discovers that Jeffrey may have ties to a serial killer who is preying on those living with the HIV virus. No One Sleeps was filmed in English, though it was produced by a German production company with a primarily German crew.~ Mark Deming, All Movie Guide
