The Imposters is a bittersweet comedy, based on the novel "Soft Soap" by Willem Elsschot. Belgium, 1935. An honest pen-pusher is offered an unhoped-for job by an apparently respectful editor. Soon, he discovers that his "saviour" is a big-time swindler. Status and money versus peace of mind... how much will he put up with before he makes his final choice?
