Jeremy Zag directs a feature-length animated origins story based on the long-running French TV series, featuring 10 new songs. Shy Parisian teenager Marinette has a crush on her classmate Adrien, the son of millionaire fashion designer Gabriel Agreste. On her way home, Marinette saves an old man on the streets of Paris and she is gifted a Miraculous gem, which transforms her into superhero Ladybug. To defeat the supervillain Hawk Moth, Ladybug joins forces with another superhero, Cat Noir, unaware that her new partner in crime-busting is Adrien. The stars-crossed heroes must prevent Hawk Moth from seizing control of the Miraculous gems and find the courage to be themselves without their masks on
