In 1950s Rio de Janeiro, Eurídice , 18, and Guida , 20, are two inseparable sisters, who live under the close watch of their conservative father, Manuel. Eurídice ambition is to train as a professional pianist in Vienna, while Guida desires the warmth of true love.
