I Won't Go Back Home

2000 Drama

A cerebral examination of the way a murder impacts two economically disparate families, this drama marks the directorial debut of Albertina Carri. Somewhere in Argentina, two middle-class brothers fight over whether to sell the family business; the harder working one is gradually set up as the murder victim. In the second family, a young man lacking in ambition drifts in and out of his angry father's house and begins an affair with a prostitute. One of her clients happens to be the second brother, and through his association with the prostitute, he veers irretrievably toward murder.~ Rebecca Flint Marx, All Movie Guide
