God Wills It So

A crusader and his horse get lost in the desert. The knight looks back on his life , all those memories, the thousands of men and women, the violence, the destruction of the villages, the sweat, the blood, the war cry 'Deus Lo Volt' shouted by thousands of warriors and the thousands of people dying. He remembers all of this, as if it happened yesterday. Knowing that his life is over, he kills his horse and lays himself on the ground, waiting for his last breath to come.
